MOTHER'S DAY
Doors open early at 10:00am Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11th at Jake's On The Lake restaurant which offers a beautiful and scenic lakefront setting to enjoy this holiday in honor of Mom. We hope to be seating on the deck (weather permitting)! In addition to lunch selections, Executive Chef Scott Yorkey has created some delicious Mother's Day Brunch specials including Seafood Crepes, Jake's Omelet, and Chicken Apple Sausage with Cheddar Scrambled Eggs to name a few. 2008 SUMMER JOB FAIRS
Saturday, May 17th and Saturday, May 24th from 9:00am until 11:00am. Jake's On The Lake is a friendly, fun, waterfront restaurant is recruiting all positions (greeters, bussers, servers, and kitchen personnel). Apply in person and interview during our Summer Job Fairs. We are located at 780 North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City's Boatworks Mall. Have fun and make money with Aloha!

15th ANNUAL CHARITY FISHING DERBY
Sunday, June 1st, 2008
Competition is on Lake Tahoe from one hour before sunrise to "High Noon". Prize money is awarded for the largest Mackinaw $1000, $500 for the largest Brown Trout, and $250 for the largest Rainbow Trout. $50 Entry fee includes T-shirt, Jake's Buffet Brunch (11:30am-1pm) and Raffle. This year's raffle contains over fifty prizes including a SQUAW VALLEY MID-WEEK SKI PASS!!! All proceeds to the Lisa Valenzuela Memorial Scholarships. Register in Tahoe City at Jake's or Pete 'N Peters. You don't have to fish to join the festivities, food & fun! Come enjoy Brunch for only $15. JAKE'S 30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
